Celebration du Mariage Civil
This is an English translation of the actual French vows we
exchanged at the Mayor's office during the civil ceremony.
We are here to proceed with the wedding of Mister CHRISTOPHE DELSOL
and Miss SHANNON LEIGH ADAMSON
As required by law, we will now read the articles of the Civil Code
concerning the rights and duties of the spouses:
| ARTICLE 212 (TWO HUNDRED AND TWELVE)
| The spouses pledge one another faithfulness, help and mutual support.
|
|
| ARTICLE 213 (TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTEEN)
| The spouses together are responsible for the moral and material
management of the family. They provide for the education of the children and prepare
them for adulthood.
|
|
| ARTICLE 214 (TWO HUNDRED AND FOURTEEN)
| In the absence of a marriage contract, the couple agrees to contribute
to the expenses of the household and family in proportion to their income.
|
|
| ARTICLE 215 (TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN)
| Both Spouses are committed to a life together.
