Why can't I find my site in Yahoo! or Lycos?
It is possible you are not listed yet, or your ranking is lower than what
your have drilled down to. Your keywords may be too specific or too generic, or you may be
searching in the wrong category.
Why is it taking so long to get listed?
Yahoo! manually reviews each submission suggestion. They receive
millions each day. The approval process can sometimes take months. Other engines, although
automated, must also process millions each day from countries all over the world. This
takes time. Some search engines offer faster service for a fee. If you are interested, we

Why does my submission report have rejects?
Our mass registration tool submits to over 800 engines. Each one has
unique requirements for acceptance. Not all sites meet all of the requirements. In
some cases, the exact requirements are not known.
Why am I not ranked as well as I used to be?
Web promotion is an on-going process. Like any type of advertisement, it takes time
and resources to remain on top. We recommend frequent promotional efforts and encourage
maintenance programs to keep you going.
