We would have liked to have married in the Church
(which dates to the 11th century), but it wasn't possible for many reasons. The civil
ceremony had us legally bound, but I had envisioned something a little more romantic.
Months before, we had decided to create our own ceremony in English and recite our vows
outdoors at Le Chateau St. Roch. This is also where we had our second aperetif,
dinner, dancing and where we spent our first night as man and wife. |
